Tapas from Haiti and Puerto Rico

Pikliz: A Haitian relish consisting of a combination of pickled vegetables such as shredded carrots, cabbage, onions, shallots, and spicy peppers

Makawoni au graten: A Haitian macaroni and cheese made with rigatoni, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and white pepper

Fried plantains: Fried green plantains sprinkled with sea salt

Boulettes de boeuf a la coriandre: Meatballs made with with fresh coriander, shallots, garlic, lime, crushed hot pepper and eggs. Served with a sour cream sauce consisting of capers, coriander, lemon and cumin.

Bacalaitos: Cod fritters made with cilantro, red peppers, finely chopped onions accompanied simply with a pink sauce ( mayo and ketchup) or a garlic aioli.

For wine options

Brotherhood Pinot Noir: medium-bodied with tea leaves and earthy aromas , with berry and cherry flavors with hints of earth and mushrooms

VAN GOGH

Pannekoek: Similar to an American pop-overs, they are a pancake-esque snack that will be filled with garlicky herbed mushrooms.

Sate: A hugely popular Indonesia dish ( as there was heavy influence of this culture from the past) now part of the Dutch cuisine. Skewered grilled meat served with a sweet soy sauce, peanut butter and Indonesian sweet chili sauce called sambaloelek.

Dutch oven potatoes: New potatoes roasted with parsley, garlic, olive oil sea salt and pepper to taste

Bitterballen: A classic Dutch bar snack. Bite size beef and gravy croquettes made with onions, parsley, salt pepper and nutmeg.

Chateau des Demoiselles Rose: This is simple fruity wine, immediately drinkable with fresh apricot flavors and acidity. The wine is balanced. Crisp at the end and ready to drink.

Chateau Haut Peyruguet Bordeaux (Cabernet Sauvignon): Lightly spicy with youthful black fruits, the wine is lightly structured and open. The fruits give the wine freshness and a jammy character from the Merlot in the blend.

Koenig Pinot Blanc: The nose show subtle notes of floral and citrus. The light bodied wine is energetic, with strong fruit and an elegant slightly dry finish.
